With the beginning of transition and a greater entry of foreign companies on the Serbian market, some five to six years ago, arose the problem of office space. In the matter of fact, the existing office space did not meet expectations of the newcomers. The primary intention of foreign companies was to lease the office space that would have to comply with a certain level of quality concerning: technical equipment, security, location, parking space, etc. Such a space was limited by that time, not more than one or two buildings would comply with above requirements and it was very hard to get it.
What is the present situation in Belgrade concerning further development of modern office space?
Today demand is still higher then appropriate supply. Probably, in the times to come, we shall see diversification of office space. Exclusive office space will be available on the best quality locations but there will be also office space of lower quality in accordance with technological and other requirements and tenant wiliness to pay.
